All prices are for retail mail orders shipped all year except December 15-31. We ship only freshly dug double fan/division bare root plants or larger. They should be planted immediately. One-gallon and five-gallon container grown plants are available for varying prices at the nursery.

All heights and sizes are averages for this area. Heights decrease with decreasing humidity, more sunlight and increasing temperatures

BLOOMING CHARACTERISTICS
First number (inches) = Average height to top of blooms.
Second number (inches) = Average diameter of blooms.
EE = Starts blooming extra early in season (March-April for us).
E = Starts blooming early in season (April-May for us).
M = Starts blooming in mid-season (May-June for us).
L = Starts blooming late in season (June-July for us).
Re = Rests after first bloom cycle, then sends up at least one additional set of blooms.
Re Re = Rests a while after first bloom cycle, then sends up a second, third, fourth and sometimes fifth set of blooms, depending on the variety.

FOLIAGE HABIT
E = Evergreen. May need mulching below 15°F.
Sev = Usually evergreen where it stays above 25°F. Briefly deciduous in cold snaps. Dormant in colder areas.
D = Dormant or deciduous in all climates, sending up a fresh, clean crop of leaves in early spring.

RUST: Disc. (rust) = Discontinued due to rust susceptibility. We do not spray for daylily rust, and don’t believe
anyone else should either. The monthly (or more) spraying is a waste of chemical pesticides, as it only suppresses the
fungus. Daylily rust (Puccinia hemerocalloides) affects no other plant types, and only some daylily varieties. It is
unattractive but not lethal to susceptible varieties. When daylily rust arrived here by air from Central America, we
destroyed over 400,000 plants of the most susceptible varieties, and propagated the resistant ones. Unless otherwise
noted, our varieties are rust-resistant in California gardens.
